“How We Worship in the Abrahamic Faiths”

On November 7, 2007, The Dar Al Hijrah Outreach Committee participated in the Annandale Interfaith Event “How We Worship in the at Ravensworth Baptist Church located in Annandale, VA. Imam Johari Abdul Malik was on a panel along with Rabbi David Kalender of Congregation Olam Tikvah and Reverend Stephen Hyde of Ravensworth Baptist Church. After the presentation by the speakers and a Q&A session, the attendees divided into diverse dialogue groups and had discussions on their different faith groups. Part of the purpose of meetings like this is to understand one another especially in a diverse community such as Fairfax County. Some pictures are below and more are on the DAH facebook group
