Honoring Muslim WWII Veterans

Today (November 11, 2007) members of Dar Al Hijrah Outreach were present with members of the Muslim American Veteran’s Association, current Muslim US Military Members, and others from the DC Muslim community to honor Muslim World War II Veterans. These men and women served their country with honor and we were proud to be on hand. Below are some pictures of the event. More pictures are at the DAH facebook group

I never knew there were Muslim veterans of World War 2! I guess there are some from Vietnam and the Gulf War.
